We partnered with LAUSD District Nursing Services to bring an opportunity expedite your tuberculosis (TB) clearance in person. This event is specifically designed for those of you who are:
1. First time Volunteer applicants who haven’t cleared the TB yet.
2. Current Volunteers whose TB clearance will expire in this new 2024-25 school year.
3. Volunteers who don’t need the X-ray, blood test or skin test to clear their TB
Here’s more information regarding this Family Academy Volunteer TB Clearance event:

At sign-in, Volunteers will be given a number. Each person will be called by number to one of the 15 stations where a nurse will go over the TB questionnaire. If further follow up is needed, you will be given a list of clinics that can provide further testing.
